September 20th is the National Dental Care Day. In order to enhance the conception of dental health and awareness of dental care, to establish the habit of dental care behavior and provide popular education of dental care, “Grow up with healthy teeth” lecture came into Baocheng Primary School on September 19th. Dental care experts give lectures on the knowledge of dental health. During the lecture, the experts give photo-illustrated instructions on the structure of teeth, the danger of dental caries, what is pit and fissure sealant, the right way of choosing children’s toothpaste and brushing teeth, etc. They also hold response-testing activity. As for the children, they all raise their hands to answer questions, learn the right posture of brushing teeth, and acquire the relevant information from the lecture.
Experts suggest that children should take an oral examination once a month, to check whether there’s a caries and the development of teeth. In everyday life, children should do proper dental cleaning and protection to carry out effective dental care. Caring for the children and preventing them from the caries, dental health mobilization is ongoing.
